The Katy Prairie Conservancy is proud to announce Covey, a new group designed for young professionals to meet up, rub elbows, and delve deeper into prairie conservation. The Katy Prairie Conservancy works to preserve a sustainable portion of the Katy Prairie for the benefit of its wildlife and all Texans for all time.

Young Professionals Event on the Prairie
February 26, 2011 from 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM
KPC joined forces with the Houston Audubon Society (HAS) to showcase their young professionals groups on Saturday, February 26 for a “trail mixer” and birding tour. KPC Covey members gathered with HAS Night Owls for refreshments before the tour around Warren Lake, lead by birders Adam Wood and Michael Williams. Fifty-two people attended the event, including the Cy Fair College Environmental Club.
