Indiangrass Preserve - Our Indiangrass Preserve is open Wednesday - Friday from 9 am - 1 pm. This is a convenient spot for birders, bicyclists, and others exploring the prairie who would like to drop in to enjoy their sack lunch, use restroom facilities, and of course explore our Flat Out Wonderful Indiangrass Preserve.

Prairie Discovery Tours - Each second Saturday of the month KPC hosts Prairie Discovery Tours. These tours pair expert guides with small interest-focused groups and are a great way to explore different preserves throughout the year.

Open Trails Sundays - Each first Sunday of the month KPC hosts Open Trails. This is your opportunity to walk a self-guided trail on one of our preserves.

Wildlife Viewing Platflorm - Overlooking the Crawfish Pond at the Nelson Farms Preserve this large, wooden platform is a great place to enjoy the wildlife of the pond year-round. This platform is located on the shoulder of Sharp Road and is accessible 365 days a year.
